About the Drysdale RSL Sub-Branch

The RSL was founded in 1916 to provide mateship and support to Australia's veterans and their families

That mission has never changed but continues to evolve to meet the needs of each generation of servicemen and women

The way we help varies greatly and is always tailored to the needs of the individual, and it may include such things as:

  • Assistance with DVA pensions and advocacy
  • Combating social isolation through veteran engagement programs
  • Home and hospital care visits

The Drysdale RSL started in 1952 and is located in Drysdale at 13 Princess Street behind the Springdale Neighbourhood Centre

The club has a small but active membership in what has become a growing area

The club meets at 2pm on the second Thursday of each month.

The meeting advises all in attendance of the latest news from the RSL and also what is happening in Drysdale and Clifton Springs area.

Afternoon tea served after each meeting and Bar open for those wanting to have a beer and a chat
